While we are not able to go out on trips at the moment, many museums and galleries are offering virtual online tours, games and activities to get the trip experience from home!

Please view the gallery below to choose from one of these great virtual visit options. Then click on the link to that experience at the bottom of this page.

You could write about what you have discovered or jot down any questions that these experiences have now encouraged you to research further.

Special Celebration: 75th Anniversary of VE Day, 8th May 2020

Friday 8th May marks the 75th Anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, 8th May 1945.

You can find out about the history behind this celebration on the English Heritage website. We thought it would be nice to mark the occasion by creating a celebration picnic, tea party or by decorating your front door. For loads more ideas of what to do, you can download the pack from the website (or here). The pack includes sing along songs, dances, bunting to decorate, recipes and much more! Design your own tea cup printable: download here

Send us your photographs and tweet them @English Heritage
